Aphexda (motixafortide for injection)
type of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Mobilizers
Aphexda (motixafortide) is a hematopoietic stem cell mobilizer indicated for use in combination with filgrastim (G-CSF) to mobilize hematopoietic stem cells to the peripheral blood for collection and subsequent autologous transplantation in patients with multiple myeloma.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- skin redness,
- itching,
- rash,
- back pain,
- flushing,
- numbness and tingling,
- injection site reactions (pain, redness, itching)
- low blood potassium (hypokalemia), and
- nausea.
