Anzemet Tablets (dolasetron)

type of Antiemetics, Selective 5-HT3 Antagonist

Anzemet (dolasetron mesylate) is an antinauseant and antiemetic agent used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused by surgery or by medicine to treat cancer (chemotherapy).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,
  • fainting,
  • agitation,
  • overactive reflexes,
  • slow heart rate,
  • swelling in your hands or feet,
  • hallucinations,
  • slow breathing,
  • fast or pounding heartbeats,
  • little or no urinating,
  • weak pulse,
  • headache with chest pain and severe dizziness,
  • diarrhea, and
  • loss of coordination
