Anzemet Injection (dolasetron mesylate injection)
type of Antiemetics, Selective 5-HT3 Antagonist
Anzemet Injection (dolasetron mesylate) is an antinauseant and antiemetic used to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy, and to prevent and treat postoperative nausea and/or vomiting.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- fainting,
- agitation,
- overactive reflexes,
- slow heart rate,
- swelling in your hands or feet,
- hallucinations,
- slow breathing,
- fast or pounding heartbeats,
- little or no urinating,
- weak pulse,
- headache with chest pain and severe dizziness,
- diarrhea, and
- loss of coordination
