Eloctate (antihemophilic factor (recombinant), fc fusion protein for intravenous infusion)

Eloctate [Antihemophilic Factor (Recombinant), Fc Fusion Protein] used in adults and children with Hemophilia A (congenital Factor VIII deficiency) to control and prevent bleeding episodes, for perioperative management (surgical prophylaxis), and routine prophylaxis to prevent or reduce the frequency of bleeding episodes. Eloctate is not indicated for the treatment of von Willebrand disease.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- itching,
- fever,
- skin rash,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- chills,
- rapid breathing,
- dizziness,
- blurred vision,
- fainting,
- weakness,
- noisy breathing,
- chest pain or pressure,
- unusual tiredness,
- sweating
- chest tightness,
- numbness or tingling,
- changes in facial skin color,
- fast or irregular breathing,
- puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes,
- burning or warmth,
- heat or tightness,
- bluish color of the fingernails, lips, skin, palms, or nail beds,
- difficulty swallowing,
- numbness of the feet, hands, and around the mouth, and
