Paregoric (anhydrous morphine) is a narcotic used to treat diarrhea.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • lightheadedness,
  • dizziness,
  • vomiting,
  • constipation,
  • loss of appetite,
  • restlessness,
  • upset stomach,
  • tiredness,
  • drowsiness,
  • increased sweating, or
  • flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling under your skin).

  • Morphine Tablets (morphine sulfate extended-release tablets)
  • Morphine Sulfate Oral Solution (morphine sulfate oral solution)
