Androxy (fluoxymesterone tablets)

Androxy (fluoxymesterone tablets) is a synthetic androgen indicated for replacement therapy in conditions associated with a deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone, such as primary hypogonadism (congenital or acquired), hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (congenital or acquired), delayed puberty, and in women, metastatic mammary cancer.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • clay-colored stools, and
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
  • vomiting,
  • shortness of breath,
  • confusion,
  • tiredness,
  • stomach pain,
  • constipation,
  • headache,
  • wheezing,
  • weakness,
  • rapid weight gain,
  • depression,
  • red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever,
  • tightness in the chest or throat,
  • unusual hoarseness,
  • upset stomach,
  • trouble swallowing or talking,
  • bone pain,
  • menstrual changes,
  • swelling in the arms or legs,
  • change in color of skin,
  • burning, numbness, or tingling,
  • penis erection that is painful or lasts 4 or more hours,
  • deepened voice (in females),
  • facial hair (in females),
  • acne (in females),
