AndroGel (testosterone gel) is a form of the male hormone testosterone used to treat conditions in men that result from a lack of natural testosterone, a naturally occurring male hormone.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • upper stomach pain,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • rapid breathing,
  • clay-colored stools,
  • chest pain,
  • pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
  • swelling,
  • wheezing,
  • chest pain or pressure,
  • increased urination,
  • painful or difficult urination,
  • sudden cough,
  • rapid weight gain,
  • coughing up blood, and
  • loss of bladder control,
  • tired feeling,
  • breast pain or swelling,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes,
  • swelling, warmth or redness in an arm or leg
  • shortness of breath during sleep,
