Andexxa (coagulation factor Xa (recombinant), inactivated-zhzo) is a recombinant modified human Factor Xa (FXa) protein indicated for patients treated with rivaroxaban and apixaban, when reversal of anticoagulation is needed due to life-threatening or uncontrolled bleeding.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- fever,
- shortness of breath,
- chills,
- chest pain,
- pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
- chest pain or pressure,
- sweating
- sudden numbness or weakness,
- pain or burning when you urinate,
- cough with mucus,
- problems with vision or speech,
- continued bleeding after treatment,
- swelling or redness in an arm or leg,
- nausea, and
