Andexxa (coagulation factor Xa (recombinant), inactivated-zhzo) is a recombinant modified human Factor Xa (FXa) protein indicated for patients treated with rivaroxaban and apixaban, when reversal of anticoagulation is needed due to life-threatening or uncontrolled bleeding.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • shortness of breath,
  • chills,
  • chest pain,
  • pain spreading to your jaw or shoulder,
  • chest pain or pressure,
  • sweating
  • sudden numbness or weakness,
  • pain or burning when you urinate,
  • cough with mucus,
  • problems with vision or speech,
  • continued bleeding after treatment,
  • swelling or redness in an arm or leg,
  • nausea, and
