Amyvid (florbetapir F 18 injection) is a molecular imaging agent for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging of the brain to estimate beta-amyloid neuritic plaque density in adult patients with cognitive impairment who are being evaluated for Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and other causes of cognitive decline.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing, and
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat

  • Cognex (tacrine)
  • Exelon (rivastigmine tartrate)

  • Jeanatope 1-125 (iodinated 1-125 albumin injection)
  • Namenda (memantine hcl)
  • Namenda XR (memantine hydrochloride extended release capsules)
  • Narcan (naloxone hydrochloride injection)
