Ampyra (dalfampridine extended-release tablets)

Ampyra (dalfampridine) Extended-Release is a potassium channel blocker used to improve walking in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • numbness,
  • seizure,
  • burning pain,
  • pain or burning when you urinate,
  • tingly feeling,
  • problems with balance, and
  • relapse or worsening of MS symptoms
