Augmentin XR (amoxicillin clavulanic potassium)

Augmentin XR (amoxicillin/clavulante potassium) Extended Release Tablets is a combination of an antibiotic and a B-lactamase inhibitor indicated for patients with community-acquired pneumonia or acute bacterial sinusitis. Augmentin XR is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Pneumonia , Sinusitis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- fever,
- confusion,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- weakness,
- sore throat,
- little or no urination,
- severe stomach pain,
- pale or yellowed skin,
- dark-colored urine,
- easy bruising or bleeding,
- swelling in your face or tongue,
- diarrhea that is watery or bloody,
- burning in your eyes, and
