Amnesteem Capsules (isotretinoin)

Amnesteem (isotretinoin capsules) is a retinoid indicated for the treatment of severe recalcitrant nodular acne.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • dark urine,
  • vomiting,
  • diarrhea,
  • fever,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • dizziness,
  • back pain,
  • chest pain or pressure,
  • sore throat,
  • burning eyes,
  • skin pain,
  • red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
  • increased thirst,
  • increased urination,
  • severe stomach pain,
  • hallucinations,
  • bloody or tarry stools,
  • fast heart rate,
  • ringing in your ears,
  • muscle or joint pain,
  • heartburn,
  • severe headaches,
  • nausea, and
  • pain behind your eyes
  • bone pain,
  • crying spells,
  • feelings of low self-worth,
  • loss of interest in things you once enjoyed,
  • new sleep problems,
  • rectal bleeding,
  • thoughts about self-harm,
  • difficulty hearing,
  • problems with your vision,
  • unusual mood changes,
  • upper stomach pain (that may spread to your back),
  • pain when you swallow,
