Caduet (amlodipine besylate, atorvastatin calcium)

Caduet (amlodipine besylate and atorvastatin calcium) is a combination of a calcium channel blocker and a statin drug used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) or chest pain (angina) that occurs with high cholesterol or triglyceride levels. Common side effects of Caduet include dizziness or lightheadedness as your body adjusts to the medication.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• upper stomach pain,
• loss of appetite,
• yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
• fever,
• lightheadedness,
• severe drowsiness,
• tiredness,
• sweating,
• weakness,
• unusual tiredness,
• dark colored urine,
• dark urine, and
• tremors,
• muscle stiffness,
• muscle pain,
• severe dizziness,
• tenderness,
• abnormal muscle movements,
• worsening chest pain,
• chest pain spreading to the arm or jaw,
• general ill feeling,
