Pacerone (amiodarone hcl tablets)

Pacerone (amiodarone HCl) is an antiarrhythmic drug indicated for treatment of recurrent ventricular fibrillation and recurrent hemodynamically unstable ventricular tachycardia only when these conditions have not responded to documented adequate doses of other available antiarrhythmics or when alternative agents could not be tolerated.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea
• vomiting
• constipation
• loss of appetite
• fatigue
• numbness and tingling of extremities
• general feeling of being unwell (malaise)
• tremor and involuntary movements
• poor coordination and gait
• eye problems, and sensitivity of eyes and skin to sunlight

The following drugs are related to Pacerone, either as a replacement or used together:

• Thyro-Tabs (levothyroxine sodium)
• Tirosint-Sol (levothyroxine sodium oral solution)
