Letairis (ambrisentan tablets)

Letairis (ambrisentan) is an endothelin receptor antagonist used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Letairis blocks the effects of endothelin-1, helping to decrease the blood pressure in the lungs, slow the worsening of symptoms, and improve your ability to exercise.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • clay-colored stools, and
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • pale skin,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • cold hands and feet,
  • tiredness,
  • chest pain,
  • severe shortness of breath,
  • swelling,
  • wheezing,
  • unusual tiredness,
  • stomach pain (upper right side),
  • rapid weight gain,
  • cough with foamy mucus,
