Gocovri (amantadine extended release capsules) is an antivirial and anti-Parkinson drug indicated for the treatment of dyskinesia in patients with Parkinson's disease receiving levodopa-based therapy, with or without concomitant dopaminergic medications.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- lightheadedness,
- shortness of breath,
- confusion,
- seizure,
- sweating,
- agitation,
- painful or difficult urination,
- swelling in your hands or feet,
- aggression,
- thoughts of self-harm,
- very stiff (rigid) muscles,
- high fever,
- depression,
- hallucinations,
- tremors
- extreme drowsiness,
- falling asleep suddenly even after feeling alert,
- behavior changes,
- fast or uneven heartbeats, and
