Altafluor (fluorescein sodium and benoxinate ophthalmic solution)

Altafluor Benox (fluorescein sodium and benoxinate hydrochloride solution) 0.25%/0.4% is used for ophthalmic procedures requiring a disclosing agent in combination with a topical ophthalmic anesthetic agent.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • feeling like there is something in your eye,
  • changes in your vision,
  • watery eyes or increased tearing eye,
  • stinging or burning in the eye,
  • redness of the eye, and
  • swollen eyelids

  • Fluorescite (fluorescein)
  • Fluress (fluorescein and benoxinate)
  • Flurox (fluorescein sodium and benoxinate hydrochloride ophthalmic solution)
  • Ic-Green (tricarbocyanine)
  • Spy Agent Green (indocyanine green injection)
  • VisionBlue (trypan blue)
