Alrex (loteprednol etabonate ophthalmic suspension)

Alrex (loteprednol etabonate ophthalmic suspension) is a corticosteroid used to treat eye swelling caused by surgery, infection, allergies, and other conditions.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • headache,
  • sore throat.
  • sensitivity to light,
  • temporary blurred vision,
  • dry eyes,
  • eye redness,
  • runny nose, or
  • minor stinging or burning when using the eye drops,
  • itchy or watery eyes,
  • feeling that something is in the eye,
