Alphanate (antihemophilic factor) (HUMAN) is a naturally occurring protein in the blood that helps blood to clot used to treat or prevent bleeding in people with hemophilia A.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • rash,
  • fever,
  • easy bruising,
  • unusual bleeding,
  • shortness of breath,
  • tiredness,
  • stomach pain,
  • joint pain,
  • unusual tiredness,
  • severe dizziness, and
  • low energy,
  • pale skin color,
  • persistent sore throat,
  • unusual drowsiness,
  • persistent nausea or vomiting,
  • yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice),
  • chest pain or pressure
