Piqray (alpelisib tablets)

Piqray (alpelisib) is a kinase inhibitor indicated in combination with fulvestrant for the treatment of postmenopausal women, and men, with hormone receptor (HR)-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative, PIK3CA-mutated, advanced or metastatic breast cancer as detected by an FDA-approved test following progression on or after an endocrine-based regimen.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • pale skin,
  • cold hands and feet,
  • confusion,
  • fast heartbeats,
  • chest pain,
  • dry mouth,
  • cough,
  • trouble swallowing,
  • unusual tiredness,
  • sore throat,
  • burning eyes,
  • skin pain,
  • red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
  • little or no urination,
  • increased thirst,
  • increased urination,
  • fruity breath odor,
  • red or swollen gums,
  • weight loss
  • severe or ongoing diarrhea,
  • blisters or ulcers in your mouth,
  • hunger, and
  • shortness breath,
