Nesina (alogliptin tablets)
type of Antidiabetics, Dipeptyl Peptidase-IV Inhibitors
Nesina (alogliptin) is an anti-diabetic drug used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Nesina should not be used in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus or for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- headache.
- cold symptoms (stuffy nose, sore throat, sinus infection, sinus pain), or
