Kazano (alogliptin and metformin HCl) is an antidiabetic medication used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with diet and exercise.

This drug may have the following side effects:

  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • dark urine,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • lightheadedness,

  • dizziness,
  • weakness,
  • sore throat,
  • burning eyes,
  • skin pain,
  • red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
  • trouble breathing,
  • feeling cold,
  • pain or burning when you urinate,
  • severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
  • rapid weight gain
  • unusual muscle pain,
  • slow or irregular heart rate,
  • severe on ongoing pain in your joints,
  • yellow of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
