Alkindi Sprinkle (hydrocortisone) is a corticosteroid indicated as replacement therapy in pediatric patients with adrenocortical insufficiency.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- diarrhea,
- sexual changes
- increased thirst,
- dry mouth,
- tiredness,
- mood changes,
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- increased urination,
- slow wound healing,
- muscle weakness,
- weight gain (especially in your face or your upper back and torso),
- increased body hair,
- menstrual changes, and
- worsening of your skin condition,
- redness, warmth, swelling, oozing, or severe irritation of any treated skin,
- fruity breath odor,
- thinning or discolored skin,
