Panretin (alitretinoin)

Panretin (alitretinoin) Gel 0.1% is a topical (for the skin) retinoid used to treat skin lesions caused by AIDS-related Kaposi's sarcoma.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • blistering,
  • severe burning, pain, or irritation after using this medicine,
  • drainage,
  • oozing, and
  • severe redness or swelling
The following drugs are related to Panretin, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Amzeeq (minocycline topical foam)
  • Bavencio (avelumab injection)
  • Lartruvo (olaratumab injection)
  • Rituxan Hycela (rituximab and hyaluronidase human injection)
The following supplements are related to Panretin, and may be used together with the drug:
  • Melatonin (s.)
  • Adenosine (s.)
  • Coriolus Mushroom (s.)
