Tekturna HCT (aliskren and hydrochlorothiazide tablets)

Tekturna HCT (aliskiren and hydrochlorothiazide) is a combination of an anti-hypertensive (blood pressure lowering) medication and a thiazide diuretic (water pill) used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- chest pain,
- vision problems,
- fluttering in your chest,
- constipation,
- headache,
- weakness,
- muscle weakness,
- irregular heartbeats,
- slurred speech,
- rash, and
- eye pain,
- increased thirst or urination,
- muscle or joint pain,
- severe weakness,
- loss of coordination,
- feeling unsteady,
- tingly feeling,
- leg cramps,
- numbness or tingling,
- limp feeling,
- little or no urinating,
- loss of movement,
- patchy skin color that worsens in sunlight
