Amturnide (aliskiren, amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide tablets)

Amturnide (aliskiren, amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide) is a combination anti-hypertensive medication, a calcium channel blocker, and a diuretic used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Amturnide is usually given after other blood pressure medications have been tried without successful treatment of symptoms.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • rash,
  • confusion,
  • fainting,
  • weakness,
  • fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat,
  • little or no urination,
  • muscle weakness,
  • muscle cramps,
  • extreme thirst,
  • very dry mouth,
  • decreased urination,
  • severe tiredness,
  • big toe or joint pain,
  • swelling hands, ankles, or feet,
  • decrease in vision,
  • eye pain,
  • itching, and
  • severe dizziness

  • Lotensin (benazepril)
  • Lotensin Hct (benazepril hcl and hctz)
  • Jenloga (clonidine tablets)
