Tekturna (aliskiren tablets)

Tekturna (aliskiren) is a renin inhibitor, which is an anti-hypertensive (blood pressure lowering) medication, used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • itching,
  • vomiting,
  • lightheadedness,
  • confusion,
  • dizziness,
  • headache,
  • weakness,
  • little or no urination,
  • severe stomach pain,
  • irregular heartbeats,
  • slurred speech,
  • chest tightness,
  • severe weakness,
  • loss of coordination, and
  • tingly feeling,
  • feeling unsteady
  • loss of movement,

  • Tekturna HCT (aliskren and hydrochlorothiazide tablets)
