Valturna (aliskiren and valsartan, usp tablets)

Valturna (aliskircn and valsartan) is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist used to treat high blood pressure. Valturna was withdrawn from the U.S. market in 2012, due to concerns regarding possible side effects, especially in diabetics and those with kidney impairment.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • lightheadedness,
  • slow heart rate,
  • weak pulse,
  • numbness or tingling
  • muscle weakness, and

  • Lotrel (amlodipine besylate and benazepril hcl)
  • Atacand (candesartan cilexetil)
  • Lotensin (benazepril)
  • Zebeta (bisoprolol fumarate)
