Myozyme (alglucosidase alfa)

Myozyme (alglucosidase alfa) contains an enzyme that is used to treat a glycogen storage disorder called Pompe disease, (also called GAA deficiency) in adults and children who are at least 8 years old.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- itching,
- rash,
- fever,
- pale skin,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- seizure,
- severe headache,
- pounding in your neck or ears,
- wheezing,
- nervousness,
- sweating,
- restlessness,
- slow heart rate,
- anxiety,
- fast heart rate,
- puffy eyes,
- weak pulse,
- weight gain, and
- swelling of your ankles or feet,
- cold or clammy skin,
- tight feeling in your chest or throat,
- blue lips or fingernails,
- cold hands or feet,
- skin changes (sores, lesions, ulcers, discoloring),
- urine that looks foamy
- slow breathing or breathing that may stop,
- warmth, redness, numbness, or tingly feeling under your skin,
