Proleukin (aldesleukin for injection)

Proleukin (aldesleukin) is a cancer (antineoplastic) medication used to treat kidney cancer or skin cancer than has spread to other parts of the body.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • easy bruising,
  • unusual bleeding,
  • pale skin,
  • lightheadedness,
  • confusion,
  • chills,
  • severe drowsiness,
  • tiredness,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • chest pain,
  • dizziness,
  • weight gain,
  • agitation,
  • mouth sores,
  • seizures,
  • mood or behavior changes,
  • trouble breathing,
  • decreased urination,
  • fast or pounding heartbeats,
  • skin sores,
  • shortness of breath
  • hallucination,
  • sudden swelling,
  • thirst,
  • cold hands or feet, and
  • stuffy or runny nose,
  • blistering skin rash,
  • problems with vision, speech, balance, or coordination,
  • black, bloody, or tarry stools,
