Aldactazide (spironolactone and hydrochlorothiazide)

Aldactazide (spironolactone and hydrochlorothiazide) is a combination of two diuretics used to treat fluid retention (edema) in people with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, or a kidney disorder called nephrotic syndrome. Aldactazide also treats high blood pressure (hypertension). Aldactazide is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Cirrhosis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- skin rash,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- chills,
- vision problems,
- muscle aches,
- headache,
- flu-like symptoms,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- increased urination,
- muscle weakness,
- ill feeling,
- mouth sores,
- slow heart rate,
- slurred speech,
- extreme thirst,
- eye pain,
- sudden weakness,
- purple or red pinpoint spots under your skin,
- burning in your eyes,
- severe weakness,
- unusual bruising,
- yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice),
- red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
- loss of coordination, and
- tingly feeling,
- limp feeling,
- weak pulse,
- feeling unsteady
- uneven heart rate,
- leg discomfort,
- breast swelling and tenderness,
