AlbuRx (albumin - human injection)

AlbuRx (albumin - human solution) contains the albumin component of human blood used for low blood volume (hypovolemia), hypoproteinemia, shock, burns, adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), cardiopulmonary bypass, pre- and postoperative hypoproteinemia, third space problems of infectious origin (acute peritonitis, pancreatitis, mediastinitis or extensive cellulitis), acute liver failure, acute nephrosis, ascites, red cell resuspension media, renal dialysis, and hemolytic disease of the newborn.
The drug is often used to treat Cellulitis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- nausea,
- fever,
- chills,
- headache, and
- low blood pressure (hypotension)
