Kedbumin (albumin- human injection, solution) is a 25% albumin solution indicated for hypovolemia and hypoalbuminemia, prevention of central volume depletion after paracentesis due to cirrhotic ascites, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), adult respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), burns, hemodialysis patients undergoing long term dialysis, patients who cannot tolerate substantial volumes of salt solution, and priming as part of a cardiopulmonary bypass fluids.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- rash,
- fever,
- chills,
- low blood pressure (hypotension)
- vomiting
- abdominal pain,
- fast heart rate, and
