Tanzeum (albiglutide) Pen for Injection for Subcutaneous Use is a GLP-1 receptor agonist, a recombinant fusion protein used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• nausea,
• diarrhea,
• cough,
• joint pain,
• back pain,
• upper respiratory tract infections,
• injection site reactions (such as itching, rash, redness, bleeding, itching),
• sinus infection (sinusitis),
• indigestion/heartburn, and
• cold or flu symptoms.
