Alamast (pemirolast potassium) ophthalmic solution is a mast cell stabilizer, which is an anti-allergic medication, used to treat ocular (eye) symptoms of allergic conditions, such as itching.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• fever
• back pain,
• headache,
• dry eyes,
• sneezing,
• runny or stuffy nose
• itchy eyes,
• eye burning or discomfort,
• feeling as if something is in your eye,
• other eye discomfort, allergic reactions (rash, hives, itching),
• difficulty breathing, or

• Polmon (dexchlorpheniramine maleate oral solution)
• Zaditen (ketotifen hydrogen fumarate eye drops)
