Afstyla [antihemophilic factor (recombinant), single chain for intravenous injection] is a recombinant, antihemophilic factor indicated in adults and children with hemophilia A (congenital Factor VIII deficiency) for on-demand treatment and control of bleeding episodes, routine prophylaxis to reduce the frequency of bleeding episodes, and perioperative management of bleeding.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- dizziness
- hypersensitivity
- numbness and tingling
- rash
- redness
- itching
- fever
- injection site pain
- chills, and
- feeling hot
