Afrezza (insulin human) Inhalation Powder is a rapid acting inhaled insulin indicated to improve glycemic control in adult patients with diabetes mellitus.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • nausea,
  • loss of appetite,
  • dark urine,
  • vomiting,
  • pale skin,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • tiredness,
  • stomach pain,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • dizziness,
  • swelling,
  • weakness,
  • unusual tiredness,
  • painful or difficult urination,
  • shortness of breath, and
  • rapid weight gain,
  • feeling cold,
  • cold hands and feet
  • changes in your vision,
  • unusual muscle pain,
  • pink or red urine,
  • slow or irregular heart rate,
  • new or worsening urge to urinate,

  • Avandia (rosiglitazone maleate)
  • Invokana (canagliflozin tablets)
  • Cozaar (losartan potassium)
  • Lantidra (donislecel-jujn allogeneic pancreatic islet cellular)
  • Monopril (fosinopril sodium)
  • Monopril HCT (fosinopril sodium-hydrochlorothiazide tablets)
  • Glucotrol XL (glipizide extended release)
  • Glucovance (glyburide and metformin)
  • NovoLog (insulin aspart [rdna origin] inj)
  • NovoLog Mix 70/30 (insulin aspart protamine and insulin aspart (rdna origin))
  • Mavik (trandolapril)
  • Starlix Tablet (nateglinide)
  • NovoLog Mix 50/50 (50% insulin aspart protamine suspension and 50% insulin aspart injection)
  • Tzield (teplizumab-mzwv injection, for intravenous use)
