Eylea HD (aflibercept injection)

Eylea HD (aflibercept) is a vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibitor indicated for the treatment of patients with neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (nAMD), diabetic macular edema (DME), and diabetic retinopathy (DR).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • blurred vision,
  • cataracts,
  • increased intraocular pressure,
  • bleeding in the eye,
  • eye discomfort, pain, or irritation,
  • eye “floaters,”
  • vitreous detachment,
  • corneal epithelium defect.
