Adzenys XR-ODT (amphetamine extended-release orally disintegrating tablets) is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in patients 6 years and older.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • itching,
  • rash,
  • shortness of breath,
  • confusion,
  • severe headache,
  • blurred vision,
  • fainting,
  • agitation,
  • seizures,
  • aggression,
  • slurred speech,
  • elevated blood pressure,
  • coldness of the fingers or toes,
  • numbness in fingers or toes,
  • pain in fingers or toes,
  • skin color changes,
  • unusual wounds on the fingers or toes,
  • mood or behavior changes,
  • depression,
  • abnormal thoughts,
  • thoughts of suicide,
  • uncontrolled movements,
  • continuous chewing movements,
  • teeth grinding,
  • outbursts of wounds or sounds,
  • change in sexual ability or desire,
  • frequent or prolonged erections,
  • chest, jaw or left arm pain,
  • unusual sweating,
  • fast, pounding or irregular heartbeat,
  • swelling of ankles or feet,
  • extreme tiredness,
  • weakness on one side of the body,
  • swelling of the face, tongue or throat,
  • severe dizziness, and
  • trouble breathing
