Admelog (insulin lispro injection) is a rapid-acting human insulin analog indicated to improve glycemic control in adults and pediatric patients 3 years and older with type 1 diabetes mellitus and adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • fast heartbeats,
  • dizziness,
  • fluttering in your chest,
  • weight gain,
  • constipation,
  • headache,
  • sweating,
  • swelling in your hands or feet,
  • irregular heartbeats,
  • anxiety,
  • irritability,
  • increased thirst or urination,
  • hunger,
  • leg cramps,
  • numbness or tingling,
  • muscle weakness, and
  • limp feeling
  • shakiness,
  • redness or swelling where an injection was given,
  • itchy skin rash over the entire body,
