Adipex-P (phentermine) is an appetite suppressant used in combination with diet and exercise for the short-term treatment of obesity. A generic version of Adipex-P is available.

The drug is often used to treat Obesity .

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • lightheadedness,
  • chest pain,
  • fluttering in your chest,
  • severe headache,
  • blurred vision,
  • pounding in your neck or ears,
  • trouble sleeping,
  • pounding heartbeats,
  • feeling restless,
  • tremors,
  • unusual changes in mood or behavior,
  • swelling in your ankles or feet,
  • anxiety, and
  • feeling short of breath,
  • nosebleed
