Adhansia XR (methylphenidate hydrochloride) is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in patients 6 years and older. Adhansia XR is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- lightheadedness,
- chest pain,
- numbness,
- hostility,
- aggression,
- trouble breathing,
- hallucinations,
- paranoia,
- pain,
- unexplained wounds,
- cold feeling,
- new behavior problems,
- skin color changes (pale, red, or blue appearance) in your fingers or toes, and
- penis erection that is painful or last 4 hours or longer
