Adempas (riociguat tablets)

Adempas (riociguat) is a soluble guanylate cyclase stimulator used to treat adults with two forms of pulmonary hypertension.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • headache,
  • palpitations,
  • low blood pressure (hypotension),
  • dizziness,
  • vomiting,
  • indigestion,
  • diarrhea,
  • constipation,
  • nosebleed,
  • stuffy nose,
  • low levels of iron in the blood (anemia),
  • upset stomach or stomach pain,
  • difficulty swallowing,
  • swelling of the legs and feet,
  • gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD),
  • abdominal bloating, and
  • swelling of the extremities.
