Adakveo (crizanlizumab-tmca injection)

Adakveo (crizanlizumab-tmca) is a selectin blocker used to reduce the frequency of vasoocclusive crises in adults and pediatric patients aged 16 years and older with sickle cell disease.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • nausea,
  • fever
  • joint pain,
  • back pain, and
The following drugs are related to Adakveo, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Hydrea (hydroxyurea)
  • Morphine Sulfate Tablets (morphine sulfate)
  • Morphine Tablets (morphine sulfate extended-release tablets)
  • Oxbryta (voxelotor tablets)
  • Xarelto (rivaroxaban film-coated oral tablets)
