Aczone Gel (dapsone)

Aczone (dapsone) Gel, 5% is a sulfone drug indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris. Aczone Gel 5% is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- confusion,
- back pain,
- weakness,
- dark colored urine,
- unusual thoughts or behavior,
- fast heart rate,
- pale or yellowed skin,
- swelling in your face or tongue,
- burning in your eyes, and
- severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
- blue or gray appearance of your lips, fingernails, or inside of your mouth,
- severe sore throat,
The following drugs are related to Aczone Gel, either as a replacement or used together:
- Arazlo (tazarotene lotion)
- Epuris (isotretinoin capsules)
- Staticin (erythromycin topical solution 1.5%)
