Acuvail (ketorolac tromethamine) Ophthalmic Solution is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain inflammation after cataract surgery or corneal refractive surgery, and also to relieve eye itching caused by seasonal allergies.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • headache
  • stinging, or
  • mild burning,
  • itching of your eyes; swollen or puffy eyelids, or
The following drugs are related to Acuvail, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Vantrela ER (hydrocodone)
  • Inveltys (loteprednol etabonate suspension)
  • Pazeo (olopatadine hydrochloride ophthalmic solution)
  • Sumycin (tetracycline)
