Actimmune (interferon gamma 1 b)

Actimmune (interferon gamma 1 b) is a specific interferon made from human proteins used to prevent infections in people with a condition called Chronic Granulomatous Disease. Actimmune is also used to treat a congenital bone disorder called osteopetrosis.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • fever,
  • easy bruising,
  • unusual bleeding,
  • confusion,
  • chills,
  • seizure,
  • flu-like symptoms,
  • little or no urination,
  • painful or difficult urination,
  • mouth sores,
  • swelling in your feet or ankles,
  • skin sores,
  • swollen gums,
  • shortness of breath
  • hallucination,
  • tiredness, and
