Acticin (permethrin) Cream 5% is a topical (for the skin) scabicidal agent used to treat scabies. Acticin Cream is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- itching,
- numbness,
- rash
- skin irritation including mild burning and stinging immediately following application of cream,
- skin swelling or redness,
- tingling, and
