Acova (argatroban)

Acova (argatroban) is a direct thrombin inhibitor indicated as an anticoagulant for prophylaxis or treatment of thrombosis in patients with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- shortness of breath,
- low blood pressure (hypotension),
- coughing,
- pain,
- sepsis,
- cardiac arrest,
- fast heart rate,
- urinary tract infection (UTI),
- infection,
- pneumonia,
- atrial fibrillation (AFib),
- abnormal kidney function,
- abdominal pain, and
- cerebrovascular disorder.
