Aclovate (alclometasone dipropionate) Cream and Ointment is a topical (for the skin) steroid used to treat the inflammation and itching caused by a number of skin conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema, and psoriasis. Aclovate is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Psoriasis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- skin stinging,
- burning,
- itching,
- irritation,
- dryness,
- redness, or
- rash when first applied to the skin.
